KADEM Delegation Attended Conference in Jordan

KADEM delegation participated in the conference of “Launching the Regional Campaign on Zero Tolerance for Violence against Women and Girls” held in Amman, Jordan on 2-3 May.

In the first day of the conference;  Violence against women and girls in the region – shared challenges and national priorities, Continuum of violence against women and girls and aggravating factors: war and occupation, Adopting and Implementing VAWG Laws and Policies – International Commitments,  Legislating and campaigning against VAWG sessions held wtih the participation of Women’s rights CSOs and CBOs activists, civil society partners, political decision makers, state actors, ministerial representatives, political party leaders, gender and legal experts and academia, media and opinion makers. Following the session KADEM’s delegation In the conference met with Jordanian Social Development Minister Basma Mousa Ishaqat and Jordanian Deputy Wafaa Bani Mustafa.

On the second day of “Launching the Regional Campaign on Zero Tolerance for Violence against Women and Girls” Conference, KADEM Delegation participated in the panels on education, tools and laws related to topics.
