With the participation of our Chair of the Board, Attorney at Law Dr. Canan Sarı, we came together with women, non-governmental organization representatives, and academics from different parts of the world at the “Jadal Women’s Research Dialogue,” organized by the Al Mujadilah Center in Qatar.

Within this scope, our Chair of the Board, Attorney at Law Dr. Canan Sarı, and the Executive Director of the Al Mujadilah Center, Dr. Sohaira Siddiqui, held a consultation on the role of women in knowledge production, social transformation, and dialogue processes. The discussion emphasized the importance of being able to speak without being forced to take sides, of viewing different perspectives side by side, and of collectively reflecting on shared issues.

As part of our relations with international civil society, we also met with Dr. Sharifa Nooman Al-Emadi, Executive Director of the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI), and Sehija Dedović, President of the Nahla Centre for Education and Research in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Together with civil society representatives from around the world who participated in the gathering, we shared our experiences from both the field and academia. We discussed women’s contributions and the challenges they face in the areas of education, social participation, and solidarity. Through these meetings, we established new connections.

With the transformative power of solidarity and collective wisdom, we continue to think and work together toward the goal of a safer future for all women around the world.
