Our Chair of the Board, Atty. Dr. Canan Sarı, participated in the international program titled “Prevention of Torture and Other Ill-Treatment: Strengthening Cooperation and Implementation,” organized by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
Bringing together state representatives, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations, the program addressed the strengthening of international cooperation to prevent torture and ill-treatment, criminal justice processes, training and independent oversight mechanisms, as well as torture survivors’ access to justice, compensation, and rehabilitation processes.
We closely follow international developments in the field of human rights and actively participate in platforms that contribute to strengthening rights-based policies. We resolutely continue our work, which centers on the right of women and all individuals to live a life worthy of human dignity, through national and international collaborations.
