Attending the 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), the UN’s largest annual gathering on women’s empowerment, KADEM will organize panels on women’s rights, labor, solidarity, and technology.
The Women and Democracy Association (KADEM), which aims to empower women psychosocially and economically through its national and international initiatives, is hosting various panels and events at the United Nations’ 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69).

As part of CSW69 in New York, KADEM will highlight issues related to women’s rights, labor, solidarity, and technology, while also dedicating a special focus to Palestine.
Continuing its contribution to the global fight for women’s rights and social justice, KADEM’s first event in New York will take place on March 13 at the Turkish House (Türkevi), with the participation of Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş and KADEM Chairperson Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saliha Okur Gümrükçüoğlu. Marking the 10th anniversary of Women 20 (W20), the panel titled “Let’s Empower Together, Let’s Grow Together – III” will be followed by an iftar dinner hosted by KADEM, where women leaders, policymakers, and W20 delegates will convene to assess international achievements in women’s rights and develop future strategies.
