As part of our engagements in the United States, the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM) delegation met with various civil society organizations.
Our Chairwoman, Attorney Dr. Canan Sarı, together with our senior managers, UID headquarters representatives, and representatives of our US branch, held a series of meetings.

In this context, we met with the Türkiye Maarif Foundation U.S. Office, TURKEN Foundation, and representatives of CAIR, ISNA, MAS, and the PAL Commission—organizations recognized as among the most influential institutions representing Muslim communities in the US. During these meetings, we discussed pressing issues on the agendas of Muslim communities worldwide, particularly the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and explored opportunities for future cooperation.
Additionally, within the framework of diaspora activities, we exchanged views on women’s empowerment, equipping youth for the future, and fostering joint initiatives among civil society organizations.

As KADEM, we believe that solidarity among our civil society organizations will make a strong contribution to the global struggle for women’s rights and to our shared goals.
