CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AGAINST THE TV PROGRAM “SEDA SAYAN SHOW” AIRED ON SHOW TV

Considering “Violence against Women” to be an issue of priority, KADEM filed a criminal complaint at Çaglayan Court of Justice against “Seda Sayan Show” aired on September 2, 2014, on the ground that it justified crime and the criminal and legitimized violence against women. The public was informed about our expectations that “the media should establish its own self-control mechanisms regarding broadcasts that legitimize violence against women, and adopt a deterrent attitude toward these broadcasts which praise and encourage the perpetrators of violence against women.”
