Refugee Women’s Cultural and Economic Integration Project
Under the project implemented in partnership with the Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry and the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), analysis reports were prepared to measure the economic and social adaptation processes of refugee women in Turkey. In light of data obtained from profile searches and field visits, a center was established to provide language education, vocational education, psychological support, and legal consultancy services for refugee women, and to perform social events. Established after the profile search, the Refugee Women’s Socio-economic Research and Adaptation Center was the permanent deliverable of the 24-month project, and the center has provided services to more than 3,000 refugee women up to the present.
