A survey titled “Insight into the Socioeconomic, Political and Cultural Situation of Women in Turkey”, led and published by the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM), was conducted across Turkey by POLLMARK with the purpose of identifying the socio-cultural situation of women who are eligibile to vote, the degree of their participation in politics, the factors that affect their political preferences, and their views on different issues. The findings of the survey were shared with the public through a press release issued on April 16, 2014.
