KADEM ANNOUNCES THE MAIN THEME OF THE 10th WOMEN’S STUDIES CONGRESS
THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING ABSTRACTS TO THE KADEM WOMEN’S STUDIES CONGRESS IS OCTOBER 25
KADEM’s Women’s Studies Congress, held every two years to contribute to the literature and disseminate the accumulated knowledge, will take place on April 10, 2025, at Istanbul University. The theme of the 10th academic congress has been set as “Mythical Discourse and Women.” The deadline for submitting abstracts to the congress is October 25, 2024.
The 10th Women’s Studies Congress, organized by the Women and Democracy Foundation (KADEM) under the leadership of the KADEM Women’s Studies Journal, aims to develop lasting solutions to issues related to women’s rights and family, and to create a justice-centered discourse and literature. The congress will be held on April 10, 2025, at the Rectorate Building of Istanbul University’s Beyazıt Campus. The main theme of the academic congress has been set as “Mythical Discourse and Women.” The congress will be organized in partnership with Fatih Sultan Mehmet University, Istanbul University, Yalova University, Ibn Haldun University, Istanbul Commerce University, Haliç University, and Marmara University.
IN THE CONGRESS WITH FREE PARTICIPATION, A TOTAL PRIZE POOL OF 90,000 TL WILL BE AWARDED
Participation in the congress will be free of charge. Abstracts submitted for evaluation must be between 750 and 1,000 words. Accepted abstracts will be included in the congress proceedings, and the top three selected papers will receive a total prize pool of 90,000 TL. Additionally, accepted full papers will be published as an edited international book. The final submission deadline for abstracts is October 25, 2024.
