Ali Babacan proposed it again for the agenda in B-20 meeting held in Turkey last year. W-20 proposal which took form around the question “what can we do in order to enhance women’s effectiveness in business life” paved the way for implementation of the proposal in Turkey.

Besides, encouraging women entrepreneurship, ensuring women have leadership positions in public sphere and business life and a number of socio-economic issues like political, educational and health are also items of the agenda of W-20.
