We held the ‘Women-Friendly Cities and Municipalities Workshop’ in Istanbul, with the participation of experts and academics from across Türkiye.

In our workshop, we addressed a range of topics including:

• Safe and accessible public spaces,
• Women and family-friendly city designs,
• Health and social services,
• Educational activities,
• Digitalization,
• The role of women in urban management.

With the workshop report, we hope to pave the way for our other projects, particularly in making all our cities, including the earthquake-affected regions being rebuilt, more women-friendly. We extend our thanks to all the academics and experts who participated in the workshop.
