The KADEM management team visited our Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Sedat Önal, who was appointed as Türkiye’s Ambassador to Washington, and Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in New York, Reyhan Özgür, at their offices. During the visits, discussions revolved around the position and issues faced by Turkish women living in the United States, as well as KADEM’s international efforts.

The school campus of Maarif Foundation USA was visited, where information was provided about the educational modules implemented by KADEM, and consultations were held regarding potential collaborations.

KADEM Vice President, Lawyer Canan Sarı, participated as the opening speaker at the “Women Recovery Forum“organized by Green Crescent in New York.

The KADEM President and accompanying team visited the Turkish Embassy in Washington DC and met with the Charge d’Affaires a.i., Halime Didem Buner.

Productive meetings were held with two civil society organizations, the American Palestinian Women Association (APWA) Doctors Against Genocide and Rabata.

Additionally, the KADEM team participated in ongoing events organized by Palestinian activists at various locations.

During the first face-to-face meeting organized by the W20 Brazil presidency, discussions were held regarding the working groups and roadmap for the upcoming term.
